Land Acknowledgement

For the entirety of our work, the media and footage have been carefully shot, collected, and edited in Kamloops, BC, our target focus of this blog. We have had the incredible privilege to be active and live on this beautiful landscape and feel it is crucial to acknowledge the territory we are on. Kamloops British Columbia is home to the Secwepemc Nation, on the unceded traditional lands ofTk’emlúps te Secwepemc territory. We are eternally grateful to live, play and study on this land. The Kamloops Indian Residential School was part of the Canadian Residential School System and was in operation from 1893 to 1978. We remember the lives lost and those affected by the wrongdoings of Canadian history. Today the residential school still stands and is used for many different purposes.
